Emblasoft is excited to announce the acquisition of fixed and mobile network test service provider, Electryon AB, adding proven expertise and service excellence to the growing team.

For more than 20 years, Electryon AB has provided specialised consultancy and services to network operators, helping them to design and implement advanced test programmes. With expertise spanning roaming services, the IMS core, test automation, and much more, Electryon has become a trusted partner to teams in fixed and mobile operator around the world.

The acquisition extends Emblasoft’s expertise in the design and implementation of complex test and assurance programmes, building on the capabilities of the Evolver platform. As a result of the transaction, Andreas Schäfer and Zbigniew Lapkiewicz become permanent members of our team.

Andreas — who graduated from the Technical University of Darmstadt with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology — has had a long career in test and measurement, holding positions with Siemens, Tektronix and Netscout before joining Electryon.

At Emblasoft, he will lead projects that help MNOs with test design and creation, test execution and review, as well as further our automation activities.

Zbigniew, meanwhile, has enjoyed a 30+ year career in the telecoms industry since he graduated from the Technical University of Warsaw, working with companies such as Tektronix, among others.

He brings vast experience of every generation of mobile technology to our team and will provide expertise to assist customer training and onboarding. His knowledge of telecoms interfaces, protocols and standards is widely recognised.
