This document describes the PureData Tasks, provided as custom tasks that must be installed with PureLoad/PureTest on each installation using these tasks.
Before you use the tasks, read more about installing and how to load custom tasks .
The PureData tasks communicates with a PureData server using a simple TCP text based protocol. See the server documentation for details.
PureDataInitTask is used to initialize communication with the server and must be added first to scenarios using the other tasks.
Client connections are shared between threads for a worker. This means that the first thread executing PureDataInitTask will create a pool of clients and initiate the connection to the server. When following threads execute PureDataInitTask connections will only be verified.
Parameters exist to set remote host address and port as well as local (source) host address. There are also parameters to control the pool.
PureDataClearTask is used to clear all global data on server using the CLEAR remote command.
PureDataPutTask is used to set global data on server using the PUT remote command.
Associates the specified values with the specified key for specified map. If the map previously contained a mapping for the key, the old values are replaced.
Result data is set to the previous value associated with key, or nothing if there was no mapping for key
PureDataGetTask is used to fetch global data from server using the GET remote command.
Provided list of variables will be set based on the returned list of values returned by the server. If number of variables listed as parameter doesn’t match the number of values returned by the server an exception is raised.
The values returned are set to ?null? if no mapping exist for the key.
PureDataImportTask is used to import data from specified file using the IMPORT remote command.
Parameter are used to specify the path to a file used to import the data. The path can be relative to the PureData server installtion or a full path.
PureDataExportTask is used to export data to specified file using the EXPORT remote command.
Parameter are used to specify the path to a file where the data is exported. The path can be relative to the PureData server installtion or a full path.
PureDataStatusTask will report various information about the status of the global data using the STATUS remote command.
