Performance testing of Diameter and Radius

Ensuring scalability and performance for Diameter or Radius solutions

Emblasoft’s PureLoad solution provides unrivalled load and functional testing of Diameter and Radius applications. It can verify functionality based on Diameter and Radius available in AAA, IMS, and EPC solutions and nodes. Full-stack simulations for Radius and Diameter to provide realistic emulation of network-layer traffic are supported.

Test nodes as authentication servers

Using RADIUS allows you to test nodes as authentication servers, proxy servers, or as a home RADIUS server alongside a user database. It can simulate end-user traffic, for example, by testing Wi-Fi off-loading, including EAP-AKA authentication of users.

For Diameter, our solution supports node or system testing, including Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) and Diameter Signalling Controllers (DSC). It can also test nodes as Traffic Detection Function, and performance test http- or Diameter-based DPI functions.

Test nodes as authentication servers

It also supports a number of Diameter protocols for client- and server-side simulation for traffic from other nodes in IMS and EPC networks, such as HSS and PGW. For example, PureLoad can be used with Diameter Rx to test the EPC/IMS interface between a CSCF and PCRF, or with Diameter Sh to test Application Servers or HSS nodes in an IMS network.
